Sentai Film Works announce that they are Dubbing Kampfer. Kampfer came out back in 2009 and was a crazy show of cross gender madness and fights. To hint at the madness that you will find here let talk about the Messengers. Messenger is mainly there to assist those chosen Kämpfer in understanding the rules and mechanisms of Kämpfer combat. They take the form of entrails plush animal toys that are have their guts sticking out. To top it off there names referrer to different methods of death.
The show is described as followed:
Waking up as a girl might be some guys’ fantasies, but when the suddenly effeminatized Natsuru is told that he’s a Kämpfer, one who fights other Kämpfers in female form, his life becomes a nightmare! Putting aside the obvious plumbing issues, Natsuru’s best friend has a crush on his new body. Not complex enough? His school has separate sections for boys and girls, so he’s now double enrolled. Hormones and fists will fly as the new gender-blender defender must become a contender or die!
Kampfer started as a Light Novel in 2006 with 15 volumes released. The main series covers 12 volumes, while the remaining three are short story collections. It later had a manga adaptation.
