The sequel anime film for Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is being released in Japan on
May 10th. The film is titled Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato. Something I found interesting is that in Japan even doing the two week
limited run in theaters movie will also stream on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video simultaneously with the theatrical release.
While we do not have a state side release for this yet I wonder if these same streaming services will bring it state side faster as Japan is having it on these services right away. I was a bit disappointed how A Silent Voice Had a theatrical release, and a year later another theatrical release before we finally got a standard release on disk and Amazon Prime Video.
