The new My Hero Academia film will run in Japan this winter. This is likely to come out while the 4th season of the anime is airing which comes out this winter as well. This movie is being called My Hero Academia The Movie. The first movie was known as My Hero Academia: Two Heroes.I see no official comments but this movie does seem to follow the first as some original characters from the first movie is seen in the poster.
My Hero Academia: Two Heroes had a early premiered of the film at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 5, 2018. It later opened in Japan in August, making it over to the states later on it wider theatrical release starting in September.
I myself was a little annoyed to have a My Hero Academia weekly episode dedicated to a film I couldn’t watch at the time, and hope they don’t do the same thing this time.
