What is the Premise?
Once upon a time, Mira Kinohata meet a stargazer name Ao Manaka which Mira mistaken for a boy. Ao upon hearing Mira name pointed out a a star that share her name. Mira finding that to be really cool asked about a star that shared Ao’s name. Though there wasn’t one. Soon the idea came up of them finding an Asteroid to name after Ao!
What type of show is it?
Being a “Cute Girls Do Cute Things” show, the subject of the anime matter less as long as the cast interactions are golden! Though those who have interest in astronomy or geology may find this anime more interesting, it is written in a way to help introduce us to it but never taking itself super seriously.
Is it a Hidden Gem?
While I enjoyed this anime, I find it easy to enjoy these type of show. It one of those shows that it isn’t the hardest to get right, though it’s even harder to impress. While some may highlight this show to be their favorite I don’t think it would get popular vote over shows such as Laid-Back Camp. Though I liked the idea of merging of two unrelated clubs making it where they didn’t understand each others fields was a good touch, normally a “Cute Girls Do Cute Things” show simply introduce a girl who new to everything.
Rating : A Rough Gem!
An Anime that does a good job and it fun to watch! but didn’t really establish itself to be above the others.
