What is the Premise?
Handyman Saitou is a real adult in the real world, As in he works hard and supports himself! what might be the most relatable thing yet, severely undervalued and underpaid. Gee don’t that remind you of yourself or someone close to you? Being isekai to another world he don’t get the standard lay out. No magic, no new powers, in fact he is very much the same person with the same skills before he went to the new world. While there is action, this anime also have a lot of Slice of Life elements.
What type of show is it?
While not as much, this show does like Odd Taxi as single person is part of the interconnecting story that is being told. Flipping between people who and different sub plots that has nothing to do with our Handyman Saitou. In the end our Handyman does get to meet the others but at first he is with his friends making a team of four.
He does not get magic like half of his team. He also can’t fight like the other non mage of the group. His role is that of the Handyman. Somewhat a Rogue but he also helps in repairing equipment. Because of how people treated Saitou before he transported to the other world and the magical and fighting power of his new friends he sometimes think little of himself but those who play tabletop role-playing game will tell you, Rogues are important in a dungeon!
Is it a Hidden Gem?
It’s almost funny that most people who look for more relatable and grounded fantasy anime would likely avoid this because of it’s isekai setting. Because of the interconnecting story we get to learn and meet with others and see others and what problem they have, including an Elf who don’t cast magic when it’s normally expected of them.

A Shiny Gem
This story have a lot to offer, and it’s one of those slow burn anime that get better the more you watch. I don’t think this anime would make the list of anyone’s favorite anime though with how different it is to other isekai I could see people calling it the best (or worst) Isekai depending on what your looking for. (Hey some people love the Crazy level grinding, OP Lead, and Harems girls around every corner!)
