Hidden Gem Review, In Another World with My Smartphone

What is the Premise?

An Isekai that sticks to the basics more then most. Touya Mochizuki was minding his own business or so we could assume when God hit him with a bolt of lighting by mistake. The said God feeling guilty put him in another world and gave him a chance to ask for anything. Simply asking for his smartphone God went ahead and gave him an upgrade to say the least.

What type of show is it?

This show is very much an Isekai. For those who don’t know, Sekai mean world and adding an I, Isekai, basically mean another world or parallel world. In many Isekai animes the person who go to the new world is over powered. While this isn’t true every time it is quite often. It makes a simple reason for us to explore the world with someone new who strong enough handle any issues. Touya is shown to be overly kind with everyone seeming to rather like him right away.

Is it a Hidden Gem?

Interesting how mix I feel about this anime. The focus is our lead who is Super nice, level-headed, overpowered, and always clueless to how much the girls around him seem to dig him. Oh and they ALL dig him. Sometimes he does some kind of creative things with a combo of spells. I can’t say I like this sort of anime and where it wanted to take it’s show but it doesn’t do a bad job if it’s the type of anime your looking for. Somewhat a Forrest Gump of Heram Isekai Anime, no real plot, no real story, just following someone living out their life.

Rating : A Rough Gem!
I think more would dislike this anime then like it. But I have a feeling that there will be a hand full who swear by this being one of the greatest animes in it’s uniqueness.
