What is the Premise?
The highly athletic high schooler Yuuji Itadori is part of the Occult Club, though partly so he can leave quickly to visit his grandfather in the hospital. When a curse item he found risk the lives of his friends in the Occult club he made a choice that set him down the path of the Jujutsu sorcerer.
What type of show is it?
The newest popular Shounen! This isn’t an isekai, but the way it starts us follow the same rules. Yuuji was a normal person, though stronger then your normal student. When he start down the path of being a Jujutsu sorcerer we get to learn about the hidden world that we, as well as our lead have no idea about. Instead of the need of awkward pauses where they need to explain something to us they are instead explaining things to Yuuji. But past that we can make a lot of comparing to things such as Bleach, Demon Slayer, or less directly Naruto
Is it a Hidden Gem?
Well guess we can’t use the word Hidden Gem for this one at all huh? Regardless this anime does a lot of things right. Though if we start comparing it to a lot of the other strong Shounen I have trouble really naming anything that makes this better. Action is solid, story is fine and fill the role we expect from a Shounen, and the Characters each have a different typical archetypes to create comedy and drama effects. If anything is really different this one tend to take a little bit of a darker tone then some of the others. An example of this is that Naruto and Luffy’s goal is to be the Hokage and Pirate king
Yuuji starting goal is more like Ichigo from Bleach, to protect people, or rather, for people to have a normal death.
Rating : A Shining Gem!
A good Shounen that is easy to like.
How much of it is there?
One Season is out for this show.
