What is the Premise?
Doing Genzo’s (aka Animal Mask) last wrestling match before he could fulfill his dream of opening a Pet Shop he was Isekai to a new world! Like many Isekais our hero was ask to defeat the Demon King and the Magical Beasts. Unlike most Isekais our Hero rather open a Pet Shop then ever hurt an animal (aka Magical Beast)
What type of show is it?
A more light hearted anime, it don’t take itself very serious. Going for the
weird and ridiculous angle it’s more like a parody. Genzo taking Adventure jobs to kill Beasts only to befriend them and bring them to his future petshop.
Is it a Hidden Gem?
I had hoped that the cast at least made more of a connection, as animes such as
KonoSuba had shown that a weird and ridiculous angle for an Isekai can work wonders! But this show fail to really show any real connection. Being only 12 episodes long It’s not a bad watch for those into this sort of show but it doesn’t stand out.
Rating : A Rough Gem!
A fun anime to watch that shouldn’t seriously, but get outshine by better of the same type of shows.
