What is the Premise?
Set in an alternate 19th century London, the discovery of a mysterious substance called “Cavorite” had allowed Albion was able to construct a fleet of airships that made Albion the dominant power in the world. But after London Revolution the country was split between the Kingdom and Commonwealth of Albion. Our cast of girls work as spies, working for the commonwealth while there cover is being students at the prestigious Queen’s Mayfair School.
What type of show is it?
An episodic Steam Punk of young spies performing espionage. The main cast being young girls shouldn’t mislead you to think this is a slow pace slice of life.
Is it a Hidden Gem?
It does well with the art and sound, selling the story well. Though I found the episodes being out of order of the events that happen in the show to be a little jarring. Over all I really enjoyed the show. The show didn’t mind using some dark themes to get it point across, and very fitting of it’s setting.
Rating : A Rough Gem!
An Anime that does a nice job being different and standing out, but didn’t really establish itself to be a masterpiece.
