What is the Premise?
Three middle school students is turned into a Kappa along with his classmates by a mysterious creature named Keppi. They are then ordered by Keppi to fight against the Kapa-zombies if they want to return to their human form. The way this is done require the three to connect and ‘leak’ their hidden past to the others. It is hard to connect with people, and even more so when your inner conflicts keep getting revealed!
What type of show is it?
It gives some vibes of a magical boy anime. It is full of symbolism, gorgeous animation, and comedy. It’s a Kunihiko Ikuhara anime, which means he delivers his own creativity that does a lot more showing than explaining. Every episode add another layer to the story.
Is it a Hidden Gem?
Truth be told this is one of those types of animes that you ether love it or hate it. But I can say that this one isn’t boring and gives its own story.
Rating : A Rough Gem!
An Anime Worth going out of your way for, but you may leave feeling the show could had been better. I still find it entertaining to watch all the way though.
