What is the Premise?
An Isekai that focus on being overly powerful. Merlin Walford was a national hero, but preferring a quite life he live deep in the rural woods. He end up raising a orphan who was reincarnated in the world from modern day Japan. Shin display crazy skills in both magic casting and martial arts. At age 15 he was gifted at being so powerful the king worry about someone abusing his power. But as he never met a single person his own age they decided to enroll him in a magic school.
What type of show is it?
Seeming to forget it’s a Isekai, it has romance with no drama, Fights with no challenges, and magic training that is so basic you wonder if people who live in the world that haven’t figured out how to become more powerful are just dumb. There are also lots of breast jokes.
Is it a Hidden Gem?
The biggest gag of the show is how overpowered the main hero is. So powerful that the main villain fight felt underwhelming. So powerful that he can train others to be more powerful then anyone else in the kingdom within half a year. Add to it that the art for this anime is pretty generic. I also find it funny the uniform had a button up collar top for anyone other then bigger breasted females.
Rating : A Glass Gem!
An Anime that may be enjoyable to those who love Isekai animes. But likely not even a masterpiece to those.
