Last Friday it was announce by Square Enix that announce Octopath Traveler is producing a new smartphone RPG in its game series titled Octopath Traveler Tairiku no Hasha (Octopath Traveler: Ruler of the Continent). Set in the original world of the first game but a few years before the start of the first game. The graphics of the new phone game should be a lot like the past game in graphics. Using a mix of 3d backgrounds and Pixel graphics. Bellow is the release trailer.
While announcing the game trail verson release in japan they also added the note of
“To everyone who is waiting on a new console game, we apologize, but production is going to take a little while longer, so in the meantime, we’d be happy if you enjoyed the smartphone game!” Giving the hint that they are making another game although no official announcement yet.
