Onechanbara new PS4 Origin game

With plans to come out in 2019 in Japan Onechanbara Origins is a PS4
high-definition remakes of Onechanbara and Onechanbara 2, that was released in 2004 and 2005. The first two games released on the PlayStation 2 never got released in the states although they did have a pal version release in English under the names of Zombie Zone and Zombie Hunters 2. I wonder how many people knew the two was related.

Let me update you on a quick history and what we had seen in the states. The first game in the states was the third game OneeChanbara VorteX that was called Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad and release in 2006 in Japan. The next non-mobile title was called OneeChanbara Revolution, a Wii exclusive that released in 2008 in Japan but renamed to OneChanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers in the states. Both these games released in the states on the same day in 2009. Since then Japan had two games release called OneeChanbara Z and ZII. The States only got the ZII version, in total getting 3 of the 6 games released.

This year is the 15th anniversary of the Onechanbara series! With that said the Producer  wanted to let the new fans know how the game series started as well as a ” tweaked the story” It has been announce that the game will have new Cell shaded graphics for a more Anime Style look as well as a new   character announced name Rei which is to the Left below with Aya and Suki to the right of her respectively. They had got a new character designer to redesign the characters to look better on the ‘toon engine’

The best news of all, while not official yet, is Onechanbara Origin Producer Nobuyuki Okajima was asked if he was going to bring to the west, him responding with of Course they would.
