What is the Premise?
Following the events of Season 1 of Demon slayer we are join by our normal cast Tanjirou Kamado, whos family was slaughtered, his demon sister Nezuko, the fearful Zenitsu, and the boar’s head wearing Inosuke. At the end of season 1 they was ordered to join Kyojuro a Highly ranked Hashira on a train that been having people go missing. Most anime Movies are not cannon, and even when they are cannon seem to be self contain where nothing important happens that effects the main story such as the Naruto or My Hero Academia Movies. Here it is not the case and is a major Arch of our story of Demon Slayer.
What type of show is it?
A Shonen anime, you can read what we thought of the first season of Demon Slayer here. Demon Slayer is Action pact and makes for a good Shonen Anime.
Normally I find most movies to be lesser then the anime the movie came from. In this one I find it to feel more of the same but with every moment having the best animation they can give for the movie. Though the Season itself was never lacking in well animated moments the Movie does nothing but built upon everything we learn to expect from this show.
Is it a Hidden Gem?
The way they did this movie, if you like the season, watch the movie. It’s as simple as that.

An Anime Worth going out of your way for, Although make sure you watch Season 1 first.
How much of it is there?
One season for now and one movie.
Currently out in movie theaters in the states, but it is said to be going to digital on June 22.
