What is the Premise?
In High School five best friends share their collective love for all things anime and formed the animation club. They even manage to make their first amateur anime together and showcasing it at the culture festival. The five girls promise to pursue careers in the industry, aiming to one day work together on their own mainstream show. Two and a half years later, Aoi and Ema have managed to land jobs at an Animation production company while the rest still having a difficult time to get their dream jobs
What type of show is it?
More of a realistic slice of life then anything else, many compare it to the show, New Game! This feels a little wrong though as New game felt more of a Cute girls do cute things above being realistic.
Is it a Hidden Gem?
You know, it’s pretty interesting to get a inside look at how an anime studio might run. I am not fully read up on the subject matter so I don’t know how correct all the facts they display are but when others try to explain things about how an anime studio does it’s business they many times bring up this anime. This anime is meant to entertain, though I think this anime is only able to do so if you have a big interest in knowing how a anime company works.
A Rough Gem!
There isn’t many things to compare this show to, it covering a niche that it does well.
